Sahil Talwar, PA-C, MBA

Sahil Talwar is a physician associate with over 7 years of experience in emergency, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. He is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. He graduated from South College with his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies in 2015. Sahil has utilized his experience by treating patients in both civilian and military settings. He is a Captain in the Army Reserves and has 15 years of military service. He is the owner of Carolina Psychiatry and Addiction Services.
Sahil specializes in medication assisted treatment. His focus is on helping people who suffer from multiple issues, such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, substance abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD.
Sahil enjoys taking time and listening to better understand what his patients are experiencing. He believes that empathy, respect and trust are integral traits that all providers must possess. He believes in the value of hard work and dedication to overcoming mental illness and will help his patients to achieve their mental health goals.
Katie Talwar, PA-C

Katie Talwar is a physician associate with over 9 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. She is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She graduated from South College with her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies in 2015.
Katie specializes in mood disorders as well as trauma related disorders. Her focus is on helping people who suffer from multiple issues, such as schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD.
Katie enjoys working with her patients to improve their overall quality of life. She believes that listening as well as building a foundation of trust and respect are an integral part of patient care. She believes that mental illness can be managed and improved with perseverance and positivity.
Christina Bergen, PA-C

Christina Bergen is a physician associate originally from Oregon and got her undergraduate degree at Oregon State. Her time as a paramedic for 13 years strengthened her curiosity to further expand her education and strived to become a physician assistant. She has been working in psychiatry and addiction medicine since 2020 and knows mental health is her calling. Her goal is to help find the right combination of medicines that help patients to feel like their best self while adjusting medication along the way. She is thrilled to change as many lives as possible and for patients to live a happy and active lifestyle. She is proud to be a part of an organized, high-quality and compassionate team here at Carolina Psychiatry and Addiction Services.
